LAHORE - The Pakistan cricket team left forWest Indies on the wee hours on Thursday sans skipper Shahid Afridi for their tour to the West Indies.
Talking to media at Allama Iqbal International Airport here team manager Intikhab Alam said the Caribbean tour will provide an opportunity to young players to show their performance. He hoped the team will win the West Indies series. Shahid Afridi will lead team in T20 and one-dayers while Misbah-ul-Haq will head the Test squad and Pakistan will play a warm-up match on April 18, while the tour formally starts from April 21.
